During the December 2020 lockdown of the northern beaches, I was visiting the Eastern Suburbs to access the ocean. I discovered new people, new rituals and new angles as well as new colours and cliffs.
This story is shot through the Lifesavers’ buggy to North Bondi as the men and women collectively wash away the night in the ocean for a clean start.
